Think Tank Health & Tech
The theme of 'prevention and digital health'

Anne-Marie Armanteras

Health & Tech Think Tank president

Anne-Marie Armanteras, former Director General of Healthcare Services (DGOS), resigned on 20 June 2022 from her position as “Health, Disability and Seniors Advisor” to the President of the French Republic, a position she had held since February 2020. Among her new responsibilities, she chairs the Think Tank Health & Tech, the Circle of Digital and Health Decision-makers, operated by Care Insight.

The Think Tank Health & Tech had chosen, in 2021, to focus its reflections in France and internationally on Point of Care innovation, supported by the concept of “Value-based healthcare” (V.B.H.C.).

For 2023, the “Health & Tech” think tank has focused its reflections in France and internationally on prevention and digital health.

The conclusion is simple: Prevention is often seen as the poor child of health policies. The new Minister of Health and Prevention, François Braun, has called for a policy focused on prevention.

Faced with this challenge, the Health & Tech Think Tank has the ambition to support public decision-makers, health organizations, and industry through the organization of several seminars to highlight issues related to digital as a catalyst for prevention.

Specifically, the Think Tank aims to address the following issues:

  • How can data contribute to prevention?
  • What can be prevented and predicted with digital health?
  • Which territorial organization for the follow-up of citizens/patients?
  • How to evaluate and finance digital health tools and devices for prevention actions?
  • How can we help to involve the patient and strengthen his autonomy in the care and health journey?
